Description

By the summer of 2003 ECOLOGICAL LANDSCAPES will have been operating for 20 years. After attending a full-time course in bio-dynamic practices, I started the business. In those far-off days of 1983, people used to treat me as if I were a lunatic. Today things are quite different.

The practicing of bio-dynamics stems from Rudolf Steiner's lectures entitled "Agriculture" (1924) in which he introduces the concept that the whole earth is alive and that each farm or garden should become a self-sustaining, unique organism. This he calls the "farm-individuality.

By working with and not against the natural processes and rhythms of nature, together with the careful application of specially prepared B-D preparations, it is possible to achieve maximum vitality and thus nourish our physical body, soul and spirit in a wholesome way. The influences of sun, moon and stars exerted upon the earth play an important role.

Ecological Landscapes specialises in a high quality garden maintenance service. A deeply held belief in the beauty of our planet, together with high ethical standards are principles that we uncompromisingly adhere to. Regularity and reliability are important key-words. In the belief that from small acorns big tress grow, Ecological Landscapes may soon evolve further, offering its clients a more comprehensive service, as well as extending its client base more actively.
